Justin Jones hired as ICC CWC WI 2007 Graphics Manager I was hired by CWC 2007 to provide graphics to all the various departments within CWC 2007, especially the Venue Development Department, where I was actually a member under the supervision of Don Lockerbie. Some of my duties included: 1) Maintaining brand integrity and identity. Making sure that the right graphics were used and that they were used properly. 2) Creating designs for various documents/presentations 3) Creating presentations: This would involve anything from the use of 3d animation to basic Photoshop editing to construct visuals for use in various meetings, announcements etc. I created both powerpoint and movie presentations during my tenure at CWC 20007. 4) Maintaining the ICC CWC WI 2007 FTP site so that architects, designers and others could share information such as drawings and pictures. 5) Managing venue graphics by way of assisting designers and helping to oversee graphics that were to be used in the various stadia. Below is just a small sample of the work that I did during my 2 years at CWC 2007. CWC 2007 continually had more and more sponsors come onboard as the start of the tournament neared. I had to continually update the sponsor block, making sure that sponsor logos were properly used as well as updating all the various material that included the sponsor block. Some of these items were our document templates, email templates and various publications. The sponsor block was an integral part of our graphics. Created a 3d animation of the CWC 2007 logo. This revolve animation was used in a number of our video presentations. Assisted designers with the concept and visualization of the presentation stage which would be used to crown the champions of the tournament. Created a 3d animation of the layout for our anthem launch. This kind of visualization is very helpful to our production teams as it gives a sense of what we want and where various activities are to take place. Shot of the stage for the anthem launch Created a movie presentation depicting a ticketing package that allowed purchasers to follow the West Indies during their progress throughout the tournament. This video was for the Ticketing Conference in 2005 where we announced the pricing of tournament tickets. Video loop of the various stadia around the Caribbean. This loop was used on numerous occasions as well to show people what the stadiums were to look like upon completion. This video also had to be updated regularly as stadiums underwent various design changes. Pitch was our online publication informing persons of the happenings at CWC 2007. I assisted the Corporate Communications Department in maintaining and updating Pitch. Helped to create the Island Fever Tour brochure. This digital brochure was part of a travel package that took passengers to various Caribbean destinations for the purpose of watching cricket matches. The brochure informed travelers of various sights and attractions available on the various islands that they would be visiting.
